Cast and Crew

Who are the creative folks behind the stories?

Eric Ode – writer, producer, voice of Roland and others. Prefers cream, no sugar.
Eric is an author, poet, songwriter, educator, world traveler, peace advocate, and do-it-yourself tinkerer. He is frequently in way over his head.
Visit Eric’s web site at www.ericode.com.

Josh Heinlen – voice of JR and others
Josh has a long history of working in theater. And he just might be your bus driver!

Petra Karr – voice of Thelma and others. Brings her own coffee mug.
Petra is the artistic director of Act 1 Theatre. You can expect to find her with a script in her hands, plaster on her shoes, paint in her hair, and a song in her heart. Visit Act 1 Theatre at www.act1theatre.org.

Lauren Ode – Chief scone and cookie baker. Voice of Henry and others.
Sometimes Lauren is behind the microphone writing and performing for podcasts and radio theater productions. And other times you’ll find her wearing big rubber boots and mucking about wetland and coastal ecosystems. You’ll find her smiling either way!

August Giles – Additional voices and ideas. Web guru. Master violinist. Rarely drinks decaf.

Kaleb Ode – Additional voices and ideas. Frequently “off script.” (In all of the best possible ways.)

Perry D’Armond – music director
Perry is the master behind our music, creating the soundscapes for the theme song, transition music, and commercials. “I have a life long passion for music, inspired and encouraged by my father, who played in the Billy Vaughn big band. I was fortunate to grow up in a Southern CA school system that had excellent music programs. I played trumpet in a great cover band, Southern CA Honor band and some fun college jazz bands. I mostly stay in my cozy home studio now. It makes me smile that I still learn something from every new project.”

We are head-over-paws crazy about this photo from Maren!
